I'm a determined, resourceful and articulate student who has just completed their 3rd year at the University of South Wales, for which I was awarded an Upper Second Class Honours in (BA) Graphic Communication. During my studies I have improved my creative thought process, as well as improving my mixed media and digital software skills in Adobe Creative Suite. University has built my confidence in understanding the importance of design, and how using creativity to solve problems is something I enjoy and I'm passionate about. This has lead to pursuing a career in graphic design, to work and be surrounded by like minded individuals. I have found myself experimenting with motion graphics and animation in more of my work to bring life to my ideas and solutions, which sets me apart from many of my peers who work mostly in more static, traditional styles. Throughout education I have developed and refined my skills within the core Adobe Creative Suite software, as well as implementing my own set of skills and interests such as drone photography and videography, hand held camera photography and videography as well as flat animation in my work. My interests reflect my desire to learn and improve myself in any sort of capacity and to further educate myself, with my primary interests being the desire for adventure, reading and photography/videography. Reading allows me to build my creativity, as well as keep my vocabulary robust and diverse, which is needed especially in my industry of design communication. It also allows me to analyse data and information at a more rapid pace, well suited for fast environments such as the design field. My purchase of a DJI Mavic Pro drone allows me to pursue my need for adventure and explore my skills of visual storytelling and photographic/video interests as it allows me to explore different viewpoints and perspectives, all the while fulfilling my desire to show people ways of seeing and experiencing things from another angle that would not normally be seen through regular photography or video processes.

I do make great tea but I'd rather take a cracking image. I am a perfectionist in every aspect of photography from lighting to editing. I love photography, that's why I have a degree in it and I understand exactly what goes in to capturing the perfect image. I won Student Photographer of the year 2015 and I've taken some amazing images. I need to see more, need to do more, just want to gather as much experience as I can. I may be 49 but I'm about 12 when it comes to having fun. Hire me, I won't let you down, no matter what time I have to be there or how much stuff I have to carry. Projects, weddings, fashion, events, product I love them all....and...breathe....

I am a 3rd year graduate student due to graduate from a HND photography course this coming November. This year, I also achieved an award for student of the year. My strength in photography lies within portraiture and documentary photography. I had discovered the 'fine art' style of photography on my HND course, and have been practicing the editing style to give this desired outcome. While attending college, I was introduced to the editor of the local magazine 'Ayrshire Magazine'. Through this introduction, I have been lucky enough to attend various events to photograph, one of which was photographing Eric and Lana Trump at the opening of the new 'King Robert the Bruce' golf course at Turnberry. Other events include the QTS Ladies Day at Ayr race course, Ladies Who Lunch at Trump Turnberry, Juney Shoo and Cherry Soda's 10th Birthday. celebrations. I believe I have great interaction with people, knowing when to step in and be involved, but also when to stand back, observe and listen. Every day I am fascinated as I learn more about my trade. I will always push to improve myself as a creative.

I have loved photography since I was in the 5th grade. I fell in love even more when I took a digital photography class in 10th grade at Irmo high school International School of the Arts. I am very hard working and ambitious and hope to some day work in the film industry. I'm currently in college, but I honesty don't know why. I feel like I'm just trying to satisfy my parents. I believe that I don't really need a degree to do what I want, which is work in the entertainment industry. I believe I just have to get out in the world and experience life as a freelance photographer. I believe I'll learn more that way without wasting thousands of dollars. I haven't really gotten much support from my family with my huge decision to focus on photography, which is why I want to assist a talented photographer while learning all that I can from them.

I started out as a local photographer roughly 3 years ago. I'm very passionate about photography and would love to work along others to be able to share experiences and grow outside local. My strive is to become a full time photographer some day, but for the moment i can't leave my office job just yet. I am very open minded and would do just about anything it takes to get that special shot. Capturing the moment means everything to me. I have experience using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom but would like to learn to use a different platform as well. The gear that i own is: 2 Canon 6D bodies, one 24-105 f4, one 70-200 f2.8 II and one Sigma 35mm 1.4, plus lights and stands. Lets meet and talk over a coffee or tea and i believe you will find yourself the assistant you've been looking for.
