I am a Photographer and Film Maker who is passionate about visually communicating ideas and messages, whilst working to create high quality imagery for personal work or on commission. I love to travel and see the world so any project that can let me see a new place is more than welcome. My two greatest passions are analogue photography and creating photographic books. I have worked with a number of 35mm, 120, Large Format, Instant Cameras and Lomography cameras, and as many types of films. I have created a number of photo books, producing a limited run of my book 'Miao Silver' and also for my final project at University called 'We Are Connected Through Disconnect'. There are many genre's of both still and moving image that I am interested in and I am always open to working with others on inspiring and interesting projects. I am a recent photography graduate from Falmouth University, having achieved a 2:1 in BA(hons) in Photography. I have worked with a number of organisations on client briefs including Cornwall Fire + Rescue service, The Wave Project and Flicka Donkey Sanctuary. I have also photographed a number of events at Falmouth Rugby Club, and photographed events for FXU (Falmouth Exeter Student Union.) My work has been exhibited across the UK in Falmouth, London, and Norwich, and has also been published in 250DPI magazine, BLOC magazine and Freerange.

I am well versed in the adobe suite including Lightroom, photoshop and after effects. I take a lot of concert images of musical events in my own time. I started out as a local photographer roughly 3 years ago. I'm very passionate about photography and would love to work along others to be able to share experiences and grow outside local. My strive is to become a full time photographer some day, but for the moment i can't leave my office job just yet. I am very open minded and would do just about anything it takes to get that special shot. Capturing the moment means everything to me. I have experience using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom but would like to learn to use a different platform as well. The gear that i own is: 2 Canon 6D bodies, one 24-105 f4, one 70-200 f2.8 II and one Sigma 35mm 1.4, plus lights and stands. I do not believe that every picture is perfect. No matter what lens you use and which angle you shoot from, there will always be flaws. However to me, that is what makes a picture truly remarkable. Flaws give me the drive to do better and keeps my mind wondering about the ?what ifs? and the ?maybes?. Having a passion for travel from such a young age gave me the chance to explore the wonderful world of photography along with it. I grew up on the motto ?What is the point in being curious if you are not willing to explore?. To me, curiosity is what makes me a better person and keeps me active. When I capture a moment I like to think about why I am doing so and the memories that there will be behind it. I would hope that the images I produce have a positive impact on my audience; who ever it may be, I also hope that they too wonder about the story behind the image. My passion for photography led me to where I am now with my graphic design course, I love to create and collaborate with other artists. I get a thrill out of seeing my work finished and presented and love when I can share my enthusiasm with others.
