I am coming towards the end of a two year a-level photography course, and am looking to gain valuable experience, whilst growing and learning as a photographer, as there is probably a lot I still don't know about photography and it's industry . Through a level photography I have explored many different areas, including street photography, landscapes and advertising. This has allowed me to develop my skill set in both camera usage and in editing softwares such as photoshop. Due to training in acrobatic gymnastics I am very physically able when it comes to using heavy equipment, though I am fairly short so obviously that may come with some limitations! As well as physical strengths gymnastics has also provided me with other skills such as working as a team, good communication, a strong work ethic and resilience. I am generally cheerful, and have lots of energy as well as loving to work with other people.

Born and raised in the United States, I've spent many years exploring and photographing the east coast of North America. I attend university in the state of Virginia and have taken photography classes with renowned photographer Eliot Dudik. Through these courses I have learned large format photography - from shooting to developing and printing. I am currently studying for a semester at University of St. Andrews in Scotland. This picturesque island has completely inspired me, and I wish to further my photography career this summer by assisting a photographer. While I have many skills in the fields of film and digital photography - I wish to work with a mentor and better my understanding of this art. My interests include wildlife, politics, and journalism; however, I welcome the opportunity to explore more.

Hey there, my name is Jack, I'm 23 from Melbourne, Australia now living in London. I've been a photographer for the past 7 years. For the past couple of years I have been doing stringing work back home in Melbourne for Getty Images covering sports and entertainment mostly. I also worked full time as a production specialist, retouching real estate properties for marketing purposes. I haven't had a whole lot of assisting experience, however I have had the opportunity to assist in a studio setting the last two years with the ATP Photoshoot done for the male tennis players prior to the Australian Open commencing. I have also done other assisting work in a friends studio. This stuff has involved setting up and packing down all kinds of photographic gear, photographing behind the scenes, changing settings on lighting gear and even just getting coffee. I am hard working, always a team player and look to strive in whatever I do.

I'm a young commercial freelance photographer who is already making a name within fashion retail and the music events industry. Extremely ambitious and by nature very determined and hardworking, my colleagues and close friends say I'm also very supportive of them. I believe it's this combination that helps me to succeed in my work. As well as assignments for two high street fashion brands I've completed work for two iconic brands in the automotive sector and work with a number of high-profile music venues and artists. I'm currently retained as the official event photographer for Village Underground in Shoreditch, where I've worked with a number of record labels and been commissioned by several big artists to produce their promotional videos.
