I am a second year Fashion Photography student at Leeds Arts University. Although I haven't had any formal assisting work, I comfortably know my way around a studio. However this is an area that I would like to gain some more professional guidance/experience in, particularly lighting setups. I have always found studying photography and art as a means of prompting my imagination and creativity, which helps me to continue to develop my skills and produce work that conveys my ideas towards projects. I also love experimenting with different techniques and this is the premise of many of my projects. Achieving a grade A at A-Level (99%) and achieving a 2:1 in my first year at uni. Looking to collaborate and gain as much experience as possible, willing to assist and help out in any way I can. I am confident in the use of different DSLR cameras (Canon 5D, 7D etc) and have worked a lot with 35mm SLR cameras in my studies (Pentax K1000, Olympus om-10, etc).

I am very interested in photography and it is a big passion of mine. Although I dropped out of college for other reasons, I am still very much obsessed with my photography. I would love to learn more about working with clients and around my camera to help my career. I am very easy to suit to traveling even though I do not drive I am more than happy to get myself to a place and more importantly on time if it means doing something I love. I am great at working with people and have much experience with it as I work in retail full time. I just love peoples reactions to photos when they are so in love with them and its even better if you have taken them. I have done family shoots as I did my cousins babies christening and they were so happy with the outcome of the photos and the editing I had done to them. Overall I am just so happy to give my time to photography and hope that one day I have my own business in doing the thing I love most.

I'm a first class honours graduate from the Arts University of Bournemouth and have worked a great deal in portrait photography as that is my speciality however I have also worked in other mediums. I'm highly focussed, reliable and a hard working individual who is keen to work as an assistant to a portrait photographer in the South West area. I am currently a BA (hons) photography student, studying at Southampton Solent University. I have successfully progressed into my third and final year which has allowed me to develop my skills in multiple areas in the field. My creative skills and processes include working with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, as well as working in digital and analogue format. Another skill that I have developed over this time at university is book design, which includes layout, printing and binding. Alongside studying I am also a fully trained barista and have been for roughly five years. This job has given me great team work and customer services skills which allows me to communicate with others professionally, patiently and confidently.
