Adventure photographer based in the Scottish Highlands Hello, I’m Reuben Tabner, a commercial and editorial photographer based in Inverness, at the heart of the Scottish Highlands. I specialise in action and adventure sports photography, working with brands, race organisers and athletes to create fresh, authentic imagery that tells powerful stories and elevates your visual identity. My work is rooted in the wild places I love — from the rugged peaks of Scotland to remote trails and windswept coastlines. I grew up on the edge of the North Sea in North Yorkshire, and that salt air still runs in my blood. Now, the mountains are my home, and both environments continue to shape how I see and shoot. With a documentary-style approach and a background in endurance sport, I immerse myself in the culture and community of the outdoors. Whether it’s trail running, mountain biking, climbing, sailing or swimming — I’m not just observing; I’m in it with you. That’s how I capture the emotion, effort, and raw beauty of the moment.
