Photo Assistants in Bristol

Passionate about creating images, extremely competent, not afraid to be bossed around and prepared to work until I drop. I am a photography graduate from University College Falmouth looking for assisting work to get hands on in the professional world. I have a wide range of skills in many photographic processes but with very little professional experience, I am in search of an assisting opportunity that will allow me to prove my worth. Experience: -Abundant studio experience through projects and workshops during my degree course, including set design. -Lots of experience using lighting on location. -Official photographer for University College Falmouth during the Queens visit to Tremough campus. -Publicity photography for The Probe Dance Company, with images featured in the Metro newspaper. -Portfolio and publicity photography for the Swamp Circus School'. -I have been the principle photographer at two weddings. -Proficient in Photoshop and editing digital images, as well as lots of colour and black and white darkroom experience.

Started in London for 5 years and now in the South West. - On location and studios; for portrait, lifestyle, car and still life. - Capture One & Lightroom, but I have used Phocus in the past - Video experience as a single shooter - Profoto, Bowens, Broncolor and Elinchrom Strobe & constant ( LED and HMIs) I work well on large sets as well as a smaller team or just a tog and I. Hard to access locations & difficult weather don't scare me, I like a challenge!

I am an enthusiastic fine art graduate who has creative flair, Photoshop experience, and am seeking the opportunity to build on my current skills within a photography studio / on location shoots. I am interested in most types of photography; from portraits, still life, architecture and interiors, to action shoots. Whilst studying BA Fine Art Sculpture at Loughborough University, I documented my work through photography, mainly working with a macro lens on a film-based SLR. I also regularly used Photoshop as an editing tool. During this time I really enjoyed working within a productive environment with a good balance between deadlines and fun. Recently I have been working on a freelance basis for Simon Mackney within his studio in Derby and on location. I have been training in house and have assisted with various types of shoots, from family portraits through to industrial and corporate. I have been responsible for editing digital images on Photoshop for client viewing and have been introducing a fresh approach to Simons portrait photography through creative ideas and re-branding. In my spare time I enjoy taking action shots of surfers and snowboarders and am really interested in pursuing sport photography further. I have my own DSLR and transport. Even though Im predominantly located in Nottingham I would be willing to travel to different locations and am available to work most weekends. I am friendly, loyal, reliable, make good tea and I genuinely feel that I have the ability, and skills to be a great asset as a photography assistant. I am a competent and imaginative photographer and have recently graduated Ba (Hons) Photography with a high 2.1 and am looking employment that most appropriately utilises my skills and training. I specialize in still life but I also have a passion for portraiture and have expertise and experience in the following: Black and white and colour darkroom processing; 35mm digital and analogue camera systems, medium format digital and analogue camera systems, large format analogue camera systems; studio lighting; location lighting; digital printing and finishing, analogue printing and finishing and screen printing. I am highly proficient in the use of; Adobe InDesign CS6, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe Illustrator CS6, Adobe Lightroom 3, digitising through a scanner. I am adept (to a lesser extent) in the use of Final Cut Pro and Adobe Dreamweaver CS6.

Hi I am Nicola, I am a part time freelance photographer with a passion for photographing people. I am hugely passionate about photography! I have experience shooting weddings, events and products. I also have experience working within a studio and have my own studio kit. The reason for me just wanting to assist at the moment is to expand my knowledge and meet other photographers!
