my name is a Nicole,i started assisting well over 10 years ago in south africa working mainly with michael and vanessa lewis, michael being an advertising, lifestyle photographer, and vanessa specialising in food. after working with them for a year i moved onto assisting merwelene can de merwe for roughly 6 years. for all three of them i filled both roles as digi and lighting assistant. after leaving merwelene i assisted a few other photographers over the years and focusing on my own shoots.. being new to london and the industry here. im looking to get started here, i realise that things may work differently, however i have more then enough experience with gear and set life to be sure that i will slip comfortably back into the roll... i am a transgender woman, i am not precious about that aspect of myself however id prefer not to work with someone who will be outright disrespectful.
