Hire a Photo Assistant in Essex

After completing a HND in photography I am now looking for assisting work. The hands-on nature of my course has prepared me for working in the industry, both in the studio and on location. I am hard working and punctual (Ive been brought up to believe its better to be fifteen minutes early than one minute late). I am also well organised, patient and trustworthy. Although I have worked with a lot of equipment, both silver based and digital, I am always looking to master equipment and processes I have not come across before. I love working in a creative, challenging environment- I can't imagine working in a grey office day after day! My technical skills include:

Studied photography at Bishops Hill College in Brentwood and developed my skills in digital photography and image manipulation. I passed my City and Guilds in digital photography and Photoshop with distinctions and am confident using Lightroom particularly for my RAW images and am now looking at becoming a photographers assistant to further my passion and experience within commercial photography. I have attended many private courses including Aspires A-Z of Business Photography as well as specialist courses and workshops run by Epson and Canon. I am eager and keen to assist, willing to work hard and put in long days to be the best assistant I can be. I know there is much to learn and I am so excited to be on this journey. I am a well presented, fun and confident guy that likes to travel and learn all I can about photography and photoshop and hope that I can be of benefit to the right photographer. Having previously worked for the likes of Bowens and Rotolight and having the opportunity to talk at The Photography show, SWPP and numerous smaller shows I come with an extreme depth of knowledge in terms of workflow, lighting and post production. I am a freelance Photographer , when I am not working on personal projects and shooting I would like to gain experience working with others. I am a sponsored Photographer - Capture One and Peli and have strong links in the photo industry as a full time photographer myself there isn't much I am not used to or cant operate. Looking forward to the opportunity to work with other photographers.

Hi, I'm Annie. I am a freelance photographic assistant/ photographer currently based in Essex but travels regularly to London for work. I started taking photos with a compact camera back in 2008 and photography has remained my passion ever since. I see myself as having a particular eye for lifestyle, food, people, and documentary photography. However, with a multi-disciplinary background in food, nutrition, and market research, I have the ability to adapt to a wide range of photography assignments and to take initiatives to cater to the needs of the clients. In 2012 I obtained a certificate in Digital Photography from Central St Martins, University of the Arts London. I attended an intensive one-day workshop on Studio lighting and Photographic Assisting provided by Direct Photographic in London, in 2014.

Ingrid grew up in Hungary where enjoyed art and craft at first school and developed her creativity while studying fashion at high school. She has always loved being creative and wanted to study fashion design. She found also that she was always interested in properties and interior design. But what she have really loved doing is looking at photos of designed properties, fashion or any features that has been taken from an unusual angle. She met professional photography first time as a model but soon realised that she preferred spending time behind the camera a lot more than in front of it. She is a full time photography student at LCCA and ready to explore.

I have spent most of my working life as a Bodyguard or in todays circles a Close Protection Operative or CPO. I was also doing Investigational work involving Surveillance and from that I had a want and need to further my photographic skills and like most people in this world I woke up one day and realised I had in fact spent the last 22 years doing totally wrong job. In April 2008 I became a father and in September 2008 a full-time father to a beautiful baby girl, Hana Rose, who is the light of my life, I gave up working for people who really did not need looking after and finally used my skills for someone who actually needs me, she has become my model and from day one knows when Daddy has the camera she loves to pose when she feels like it, you know the score, a woman's perogative!!! I am a very easy going guy who loves to work hard and am not afraid to get dirty if the need be. I currently own and use the following equipment: Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera Body Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens Canon 430ex Speedlite Slik PRO 700DX Tripod Photoshop CS4 Photoshop Elements 8 27ins iMac Elinchrom D-lite 2 twin head studio lighting system plus backdrops, 5 in 1 reflector and the ability to be portable so have kept it to the point as I have yet to set up a proper studio, but all in good time.
