I have been a photographer for over 30 years, and following retiring from a corporate career I am now making my way as a working pro photographer. I am working freelance and know that I still have lots to learn. Would be very interested in any Assistant work, and am not too worried about location - it does not have to be near my home. I am a member of the Guild of Photographers and the Societies of Photographers and possess high range kit including a Canon 5D4 and L series lenses, and back up kit. I can usually be available at short notice.

Photography for me is like a sandwich, everyone has their own filling; whether its creative alternative perspectives, encapsulating raw human emotion in a single frame or just taking a wide angle 18mm shot of your dogs wet nose. The one thing that stays constant throughout (the bread) is the frame of the camera body, light and person in control. For me I am most skilled digital photography in alternative angles, trying to bend a viewers typical perspective of the world into something a bit more interesting. I am also pretty good with editing RAW images, doing visual enhancements in Photoshop CC or doing something wacky with the vast array of tools available. I'm pretty much open to any type of digital photography as i have being doing Photography from a young age and took Art & Design: Photography at GCSE and A-level. Although I am currently a complete beginner in terms of Photography assistance I hope that someone will give a chance to prove myself and improve my overall confidence as Photographer in the real world :)

Predominately being an extra pair of hands and eyes. My main responsibilities involve preparing the set, lighting, runner for food and drink. I have worked with tungsten, flash or manipulating natural light. I aim to help the photographer run the shoot smoothly and stress-free. it's great to know the schedule of the shoot to prepare for what the photographer needs next.
