I am a recent graduate from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons) in Photography. During such times, I have gained extensive experience in film and digital imagery - still and moving, along with editing and photoshop skills. Beforehand, on completing my HND in Glasgow, I gained many work experiences in commercial photography and worked as Production Manager for Capture the Event Scotland, working at the Commonwealth Games. Assistant work is something I have done on numerous occasions before and through out my studies and would love to help anyone in the Scottish aera. I am hard working and organised with a great motivation for lone working, being able to see a project through from start to finish. I'm a webdeveloper by trade, but do bits of freelance photography mainly shooting landscapes for local businesses but also event photography and shooting local weddings I have Nikon DSLRs, and Fuji mirrorless systems, with lenses as fast as F1.2 for those tricky venues that won't allow flash and studio lights for events where necessary

I am confident using Capture One as a digital operator and with all camera gear. My name is Liam Pye and I am a photographer based in Birmingham in the West Midlands UK. I'm currently studying a Visual Communication degree at Birmingham City University. Upon leaving education and working in offices I was inspired after a trip to New York to leave office life and pursue my passion for photography as a career. While studying I have worked with numerous charities including Reclaim Photography raising funds by auctioning international photography at exhibitions for Breast Cancer. Summit House commissioned work to feature in promotional campaign for World Aids Day. And recently Albion Foundation's Amputee Footballers, Visually Impaired Sandwell and the Special Olympics for a personal project about ability in sport. I have also collaborated with artists from Multi-Story on Unseen Sandwell exhibiting archival and new photographs of the local arts from 1974-1994. I am passionate about photography and I'm always striving to learn more. I'm experienced in portraiture, editorial fashion, documentary, events and video. Communicating with others comes naturally to me and I like to make people feel at ease when they're in front of the camera. I enjoy collaborating with other artist and designers. Having previously worked for the likes of Bowens and Rotolight and having the opportunity to talk at The Photography show, SWPP and numerous smaller shows I come with an extreme depth of knowledge in terms of workflow, lighting and post production. I am a freelance Photographer , when I am not working on personal projects and shooting I would like to gain experience working with others. I am a sponsored Photographer - Capture One and Peli and have strong links in the photo industry as a full time photographer myself there isn't much I am not used to or cant operate. Looking forward to the opportunity to work with other photographers.

I am a graduating student photographer who is keen to get into the photographic industry right away. I aim to have my own business one day photographing family portraits and events. I have a wide design background behind me as I started off doing this at college in Suffolk. I broadened my skills as a digital artist and found my passion for photography which is what I went on to study at University, in Suffolk. The skills I have obtained from my course at Uni include film and digital photography. I have learnt how to work in a studio and got to operate lighting equipment, but I prefer to use natural lighting. More recently, I have learnt how to expand my skills in photoshop and post production. I am a dedicated, hard worker with a kind heart, I am a friendly soul and I am eager to learn. I am a part of the University Netball team which makes me able to work in a team, and as well as on my own. For this I have been recognised with an award for ?Sports Personality of the Year?. I also do make a great cup of tea too.
