I am in my final year of a BA Hons Photography at the University of Bolton specialising in portraiture and music photography. I have a degree in Broadcasting television operations and production from 2002-2004 at Ravensbourne College of Design and communication and in my spare time I also like to gain further experience on short films and music videos. I have experience of working in a photography studio working in portraiture and assisting other student on their photoshoots. I also use lightroom and photoshop to edit my own images. I started my photography career in 2012 photographing at local gigs and events and self taught myself before returning to full-time education at the university where I expect to graduate with a 2:1 in July 2019. For the past 7 years I have organised, booked the line-=up and promoted an acoustic showcase within a community theatre called Bolton Little Theatre which enables me to meet new and upcoming artists some of which you will see in my online portfolio. I am a confident and assertive individual with great people skills and enjoy meeting and working with new people. I have a great sense of humour but I do tell some awful Dad jokes, taught to me by own Dad! I am a problem solver and try to resolve issues before they become one. I have been told and agree that I am very focused and competent in what I do. I have enjoyed collaborating with different disciplines such as illustrators and graphic designers and would love to have my own work published in editorials and online content.

I am a fashion, portrait and event photographer who is still relatively new in the business, but my experience has thrown me into the deep end and despite expectations and work has come sooner than expected. I've enjoyed pursuing photography as a hobby for over 10 years, focusing primarily on landscapes and nature. I've also been fortunate enough to get involved in some corporate event photography through my full-time employment. I would like to start getting involved in assistant work with the hope of one day perhaps starting my own photography business. To that end I'm keen to gain experience in areas such as portraits, weddings, etc - as I don't have much photography experience in these subjects as yet. I have used a mixture of Canon, Nikon and Fuji camera systems since 2007, and been a user of Photoshop and Lightroom for a similar period of time. Currently I use a Canon 6D and Fuji X100s. As I currently have a full time job I'm only really available on weekends and some weekday evenings, but I'm keen to help out and maintain good organisational skills.

I am a second year Fashion Photography student at Leeds Arts University. I haven't had any formal assisting work quite yet but I am comfortable in a studio environment. However, this is an area that I would like to gain some more professional guidance/experience in, particularly lighting setups. I have always found studying photography and art ways to explore my creativity to its best, its help me grow as a practitioner which had helped me to develop my skills and produce work that conveys my own personal ideas. I also love experimenting with different techniques and this is the premise of many of my projects. Achieving a grade A* at A-Level Fine Art. I am looking to collaborate and gain as much experience as possible, willing to assist and help out in any way I can. I am confident in the use of different DSLR cameras (Canon 5D, 7D etc)
