Anna Cunningham Photography Assistant cunningphotos@gmail.com 07510908660 An enthusiastic, dedicated, hardworking and reliable individual who graduated in 2020 with a BA (Hons) in Photography from the University of the West of England. Has had own work published in The Big Issue and The Observer and is one of only 50 graduates to have their work published in the 2020 Photograd zine. This zine will be distributed and promoted across the industry to promote the work of the next generation of photographers. Has exhibited work in Bristol with an upcoming exhibition in London. I have the relevant photographic skills and knowledge to be successful in this role. I have experience of working with Super8, digital and film cameras. I am also able to develop both 35mm and 120 film. I have been working with Esther May Campbell, a BAFTA winning photographer and film-maker, for over a year, often being relied upon as her first point of contact on the Scrapbook project. I worked on the project and ran photographic workshops with children at St Paul's Adventure Playground, in Bristol. This involved teaching children how to use film cameras and engaging them in the photographic process. I have a breath of experience of both natural and studio lighting. I have successfully styled and shot products in a studio for a lifestyle store. These images were used in PR material. I have also worked collaboratively in different studio settings so I understand the importance of listening and being attentive to the lead photographer, responding quickly and accurately. The dynamic nature of my work with Esther and Stink Productions, where I worked as a runner, shows that I have a calm and flexible approach when working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. I developed my collaborative and communication skills when working as part of the Scrapbook team, liaising with professional photographers, magazine editors and gallery curators to seek publicity and press for the project. I identified and contacted key influences with many successful responses including the Mayor of Bristol. I also helped to organise and host the Scrapbook exhibition. I have thrived in my role as an assistant to Esther May Campbell and I am now eager to embrace my next challenge as a photographer's assistant. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application, I very much look forward to hearing from you soon, Anna Cunningham

Jada Ciarrocchi

Bournemouth, Dorset

Photo Assistant9+ years exp

Hi, My name is Jada and I graduated this year with a BA in Photography from the Arts University Bournemouth. During this both academic and practical course, I have experimented with a range of digital and analogue cameras, as well as having gained extensive experience using the darkroom and digital facilities. By studying at AUB, I have collaborated with different creative courses to amplify my knowledge of this visual medium and support my experience in photography with other related fields, such as film and media production and graphic design. Thanks to my studies I have gained a better understanding of the core of the photography industry. Recently, I have worked as a set photographer for several student short films, which enhanced my technical skills and improved my interpersonal skills working within both large and small teams. I have also gained strong technical skills in editing and using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Whilst studying my undergraduate course, I have worked as a student ambassador for the university. This role refined my communication skills with young students by assisting to deliver photography workshops and art classes to a range of ages from primary school through to sixth form. I taught a variety of subjects relating to the arts in different forms to schools across the UK, working with the AUB team to develop my teaching skills and planning for workshop sessions. I also gained experience as a Photography assistant for a family business during my studies, where I assisted the lead photographer with lighting, setting up and technical duties. I was involved in ensuring the shoot ran smoothly and the client was contended with the outcome. This position also required physical work such as carrying equipment from locations and standing long hours during photo shoots. I have learnt many useful techniques in assisting and also creating artwork.
