I am an amateur photographer determined to become a professional photographer. I currently work in the heritage industry (for the National Trust) in Visitor Services. My main areas of photographic interests are heritage, landscapes and nature. I have been working for a local company specialising in school photography for 6 years and have a great rapport with all our clients and the people I photograph. In my spare time I build up my own portfolio focusing on fashion photography. I do all my own retouching and I am self taught in Photoshop. I have assisted before and I am happy to transport equipment, set up lights and make drinks, whatever is needed. I am always on time and will put in the extra time if needed.

I have spent most of my working life as a Bodyguard or in todays circles a Close Protection Operative or CPO. I was also doing Investigational work involving Surveillance and from that I had a want and need to further my photographic skills and like most people in this world I woke up one day and realised I had in fact spent the last 22 years doing totally wrong job. In April 2008 I became a father and in September 2008 a full-time father to a beautiful baby girl, Hana Rose, who is the light of my life, I gave up working for people who really did not need looking after and finally used my skills for someone who actually needs me, she has become my model and from day one knows when Daddy has the camera she loves to pose when she feels like it, you know the score, a woman's perogative!!! I am a very easy going guy who loves to work hard and am not afraid to get dirty if the need be. I currently own and use the following equipment: Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera Body Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens Canon 430ex Speedlite Slik PRO 700DX Tripod Photoshop CS4 Photoshop Elements 8 27ins iMac Elinchrom D-lite 2 twin head studio lighting system plus backdrops, 5 in 1 reflector and the ability to be portable so have kept it to the point as I have yet to set up a proper studio, but all in good time. I have recently graduated from a Photography BA degree at University College Falmouth. I am currently living in Worcester but will be moving to London in the next few months so will be available in the London and Midlands area. I am fully conversant with all photography chemistry (including a range of historical processes), traditional and digital printing, studio lighting and all camera formats. Competent with digital image manipulation and presentation using Adobe Photoshop CS3, together with Microsoft: Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Excel. I am experienced in both Mac and PC computer systems.

I am currently employed as a director of a finance company so I would not be looking for any payment for my help. I have done advertising for The Dustbin vintage clothing shop and Tigerlily women's clothing shop in norwich recently. I work with digital and am competent with photoshop - I even teach it! I am currently studying City and Guilds photography and am in my third year at Norwich Art School studying Visual Studies. I am desperate to learn more and would be very happy to travel, drive, make tea and pretty much do as i'm told.

I'm currently completing my NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) Photojournalism accreditation course at Norton College, Sheffield. I've covered a wide variety of photographic assignments - fashion, features, music, news, sports, landscape and portraiture including some studio lighting work - for the course. I've also carried out various work placements (Associated Press London, Derby Evening Telegraph, Birmingham Post, London Media Press) to gain insight and experience and have started to pick up freelance work in the Yorkshire area. Due to the course emphasis on digital photography I'm well versed with digital equipment and computer software, particularly Photoshop. I studied black and white film processing, developing and print-making as an evening course and do my own black and white film work in my spare time. I want to learn from a professional to improve my skills as a freelance photographer and am looking to learn in all areas to become a more versatile photographer. If you're looking for a hard working, enthusiastic assistant who can drive pretty fast if needs be, I'm very keen to learn from you and share my own knowledge and experience.

I'm a student studying media production in uk and I'm interested in all kinds of photography and I study photography as a module in university,got A on my photographpy lesson. If you are looking for an assistant with full passion and creative ideas and is willing to work during christmas, you've found the right person! I have some working experience in a gallery in 798 Factory(where most chinese mordern artists open their gallery there)in China, working with artists "Gao Brothers". I study art and design in first year in my university and I can work on both PC and Mac, designing and editing graphic or photos by using Photoshop and Illustrator, editing film by using Final Cut Pro. Although I don't have any experience with a photographer, my working in 798 factory had proved that I can work with artists quite well, I am a fast learner and a modest listener and is available at anytime!
