My interest in photography started reading NatGeo magazines that my parents used to buy when I was a child. My dad, an amateur photographer, gave me my first (film) camera as a birthday present about 15 years ago. I learnt how to develop a film and I remember being in a darkroom was one of the most fantastic and relaxing things in the world for me back then and I swore never to fall for digital. Not sure how it happened but I eventually gave in to it and got my first digital camera in 2005. I now can say I love both film and digital photography. I think they are both cool in their own way! These days I shoot mostly digital but have recently started shooting with film again for fun! Only disadvantage is no access to a darkroom. Regarding my digital skills I took a professional digital photography course in a great photography school in Spain. I've taken photographs for Kew Gardens and I'm currently taking photos for The National Trust. I was also once a volunteer at a workshop given by a Magnum/NatGeo photographer (mostly logistics and translations but also had the opportunity to attend all the talks and see him in action). Recently I have been getting experience working as a second shooter for a wedding photographer.

After a recent move to London for its vibrancy, energy and working opportunities. I am currently looking for an assistant position within a professional studio. With a background in photography and fine art I have a variety of skill sets also useful within creative studio roles. Having previously worked for a variety of Art Galleries both profit and Non for profit based in Nottingham and London. I have been exposed to a number of aspects and approaches within the art world. My volunteering duties for Surface Gallery included: handling artworks, maintaining standards of the studio spaces, promoting/marketing current exhibitions and finally hospitality greeting guests at private events. My position at the New Art Exchange was more focused to marketing and promotions. Advertising posters, press releases even face to face street promotions. My biggest achievement is landed, gallery position at Somerset House. My regular duties are ticket supervisor, invigilating the gallery space and hospitality. The contract is zero hours, this has allows me to be very flexible to work as freelancer to assists photographers on shoots and maintaining photography studios in London. My second job has progress my skills to be qualifying assistant for Jet Studios and Sunbeam Studios. Both companies have the same day to day tasks, which includes painting the cove and set up the studio space for next shoot. During the shift I have to give 100% hospitality services towards our clients. This includes breakfast, lunch, teas, coffees and late evening drinks. With all the hard work, being a freelancer, it has awarded me to work full time studio assistant for JJ Media group. Recently been fortunate to assist four fashion shoots with different photographers, it has allowed me to take in reasonability of looking after the clients and the photography equipment. The most importantly is time keeping, making sure I am at the shoot on time and be alert to any difficulties that can cause a delay, which can cost the clients budget. I'm Confident and hardworking and commit myself to strengthen a good working relationship with the studio manager undertaking the given brief or daily objectives, also available to work overtime or extra hours to make a contribution towards studio success. My drive and goals are to develop myself and current skills sets by being surrounding by new talents, & leading galleries hoping to include international colleagues with a variety of techniques and individual styles.
