I'm Ellie, I'm 22 and I graduated the university of Sunderland last year studying photography video and digital imaging. I built up a lot of transferable skills whilst being there, we were given creative briefs usually with a lot of creative freedom mainly in third year to choose a genre, format and theme/issue to work with. research files were required to be made recording all the photographic process' taken out, project development regarding the genre and theme we were working with as well as any relevant works looked at E.g I often worked in the portrait genre sometimes studio and sometimes in external environments, so I would search various photographers that specialised in portraiture as well as topical issues I also explored, some themes I explored at my time in university was self confidence, coming of age and gratitude whilst working a lot with portraiture. I'm a creative thinker but also very practical who can be very independent and I can think for myself, in my degree I had to do this quite a lot as I'd have to work by myself for periods of time as well as being as part of a group often in the studios and lectures. I would also say I'm a happy and uplifting person who is positive to be around and likes to not take myself to seriously. My other interests include fashion and expressing myself through clothes, music and gigs, live music is something I've always loved I often go to gigs and festivals. I have skills in adobe photoshop and lightroom (mainly lightroom), Microsoft PowerPointand word and good level of communication skills and confidence as well as presentation skills and speaking in public. I am keen to learn and build upon my skills that will help me further in the future as well as test out different genres if photography.
