Hi there, I'm an early career filmmaker and photographer. I'm looking to come and work with someone on a part-time basis if possible, perhaps 2/3 days per week. I've assisted various photographers and filmmakers over the years, but I'll be honest in that my technical knowledge is still limited. That being said, I'm a grafter and love being on set, facilitating the ease of a shoot and bringing good vibes!

I'm Ruby, a fashion photography student at London College of Fashion, looking for more hands-on experience within the industry. I have assisted a few times and I'm confident with studio lighting. I'd really love to learn more.
I am a MA Photography Graduate from Leeds Arts University. My personal interest lies within fine art photography, exploring alternative photographic and camera-less processes, such as cyanotype and anthotype. I also tend to shoot primarily with 35mm black and white film, so that I can develop the film myself, using homemade developers known as caffenol, and my own fixer made from salt and water. Besides this I have a rounded experience from university of shooting and assisting both in studios and on location in a variety of areas, including fashion, still life and portraiture. I have experience with the use of Capture One and tethered shooting, alongside several years experience using Lightroom and Photoshop before I began my studies.

taking pictures started with the many faces and characters from my home town. I would use whatever camera was in the house and get in all sorts of scrapes taking pictures of the world. I left off for a bit but then returned to the creative community in my early teens. hanging out with the media studies crowd I continued to get into scrapes and once held a camera out of a moving car window. The camera was my friend and with no one to talk to it was my lens to the world. I started getting smart phones and was always experimenting with camera attachments. I began to build have a profile built- up over 5 years.
